Metroplex Miata Enthusiasts came in to being in the early part of 2004. Our founders recognized a need for a merged online/offline community to support Miata owners in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While other clubs/groups exist in the area, they tended to be limited either by visibility to new owners, or by ease of access outside regularly scheduled activities.

Over the last few years, Miata owner participation in autocross competition in the area has grown to impressive heights, fostering an informal community of performance minded owners. Our goal is to extend that community and its knowledge to all owners and enthusiasts in the area through this web site, informal get-togethers and track-side support.
