Hal, among other things, is a certified Safety Steward with SCCA Solo II. We're not so sure he'll be keeping that title once they see the photo at right showing what he does at work...

Another of Hal's specialties is killing cones; 17 at one time is his personal best. And onething isn't prejudiced when it comes to those little orange demons... he'll run over just about anybody's cones - SCCA, ER, S2K, PCA.

Hal works for the local electric energy delivery company by day as an instructor and tries to teach employees and the public how to be safe, but as much as possible, you will see him on the way to a parking lot filled with cones, having a good time with a bunch of other Miata drivers or hanging out with a few thousand of his closest friends at Texas Motor Speedway.
