IM VividThe event started up with a group of us, Onething, POS, IMVivid, Sammm, & Mrs. Sammm signed up for the 11:00 am slot. Brock and his SO were in the 12:00 pm slot. We were given a brief synopsis on how to best drive the vehicles that would be at our disposal. They had 3 courses set up, a performance, a handling and an acceleration course. There were 3 cars in each and 3 drivers to a car so each person got to drive every vehicle.

Well, Onething, POS and IMVivid where in one group, Sammm and his SO where in a group and the early/late comer Turbo Duane was put in with a third group. The driving was going well with all the auto crossers trying to scare their ride along partners. After each course we all were comparing notes to see which car we liked the best. The Subaru and the BMW seemed to be way out front. No one was really impressed with the Volvo. On the last course there was a timing light so everyone could see how fast they could get their car to the timing light before a slight jog right. I believe we had quite a few 54’s and a possible 57. Unfortunately Onething only went 13 miles per hour on his first pass.

At the end we were all given an exit survey and low and behold Subaru was the sponsor of the event. At the conclusion of the event we all decided to go to lunch at Chili’s. Brock and his SO met us at the restaurant where everyone had a nice quiet lunch and A/C.
