I found that the drivers side tension cable is broken. It has been leaking a bit and the water is coming in in the middle of the window instead of at the front like usual. Has anyone messed with these replacing a top or otherwise? Would anyone care to shed some info or even come over and help out? Let me know. Thanks
Pretty easy to replace... One screw & one rivet...
Should be able to do it without replacing or taking off the whole top.
Are you sure it's broken an not just a busted rivet or spring?

Yeah the cable is frayed, I took a look this afternoon and it looks like it isnt too bad to get to. Should I peel the front of the top up?
Nah...
Go over to the pointy board and take a look at the instructions on replacing the ragtop. That will give you some ideas on how exactly to do it.
Replace the cables on each side as a set.
