I'm asking here because i know all you guys are pretty smart (you do drive a miata :) )
I had a brain fart last night while i was at my moms. She has 4 tv's and 2 dish receivers that are 2 tuner to run all 4 tv's. Well, she only watches 2 tv's in her house and was thinking of getting rid of one of the tuners.
my question is, could i take the other tuner and get my own dish on my roof and use it off her account? i could pay half her bill and she could get more channels.
does this make sense?
I don't think it will work.
No because they dial in to the recievers and make sure they are both plugged in at the same phone line. If you go too long with one of them unplugged or removed, they will automatically charge you for two seperate packages.
