fuel pump issues
Two-three weeks ago my Miata would turn over but it wouldn't catch. I had it towed to the shop and they replaced the fuel pump. It's been fine since (zero problems) then last night my brother drove it out to his place in BFE Farmersville and this morning apparently it's not catching again. What's the possibility of something small having gotten jostled loose over 1/2 mile of gravel road (and two weeks of city driving) vs an actual problem with the new fuel pump?
I'm going to be entirely too hacked if I have to pay someone in BFE to fix the fuel pump again because the car is too far away to be towed to my mechanic.

I'd call your mechanic and ask him what to do. He might offer some help, suggestions for what to check, or know the world's best mechanic who happens to live in Farmersville.
It could happen

I think that would be a brilliant idea if he was open on a Sunday afternoon. I was hoping for some much more immediate advise like wiggling a wire here or tightening a bolt there.
