Brake Clunk (Clank) at Low Speed

There have been 2 posts recently on the pointy board about brake noise at low speed which is best described as a "clunk" or "clank" sound. I have this same issue and I assumed it was due to missing brake parts (springs or shims). Have any of you had this issue and if so, how was it resolved?

If you have clickety sounds when going over potholes or speedbumps at low enough speeds to hear... you need the springs in the brakes.

Clunks or clanks when pressing the pedal means you better get off your @$$ and lube the slider pins on the brake calipers before the seize up!

I do have a slight clunk at most speeds when I hit a bump. It is because of missing clips.

I have the clips but not the spring and I don't have any noise.
