Im getting Tein Flexes very soon and I am nervous about doing everything right. Seems to me that the install should be easy enough, but im not so sure about getting the ride height correct. My main concern is cornerweighting. How important is it? Any tips and input are appreciated.

Measure ride height from the center caps of your wheels to the top of the wheel arch. Make sure the car is on a very level surface, for accuracy. Each time you lift the car up to adjust the height, roll it backwards and forwards 5 feet or so, to settle any extra load on the suspension parts. Good starting points for ride height are 12.25-12.5 inches from the center of the wheel to the top of the arch. There can be differences from front to rear, but try to make it all level from side to side. If you have friends to help, put somebody your size in the driver's seat when measuring ride height (or better yet you sit while they work). After setting ride height, you can corner weight (if you have scales) by making finite adjustments in ride height and preload. I don't know many guys who go through the trouble, though. If you want to be that picky, you have to be willing to relocate parts in your car to evenly distribute weight.Quote:

Corner weighting really doesn't make much of a difference on a street car. It is also a very tedious process and requires corner scales and someone who knows what they are doing.
Save your money.
Iain's right about the cost.
The time and accuracy required to properly cornerweight a car is quite a task.
mr brg cornerweighted his car and he said it took a few hours to get it dialed in. One single change effects every other coilover/shock. Very tedious.
Maybe one day I'll buy a set of cornerweights.....

a year ago I paid a guy to align and corner weight two different cars
the price was (I thought) very reasonable
