I have my ezgo cart for sale. A dude wants to trade an HP laptop and cash for the cart. He says the computer is like new. What recourse does anybody have if the computer is hot or bought on credit and he never paid off the loan? I want to be able to get software updates without the police showing up at me office. Thanks.

You have two separate issues. If he bought the computer on credit, most likely the credit is a signature note, and the computer is not the collateral for the note, thus you should have no worries.Quote:

I'd agree with that. Laptops are so cheap I'd get cash only for the cart. If the notebook is stolen the Police will take it; and your out whatever you traded/paid for it.Quote:
