I'm looking for an engine swap candidate actually. If I sell the engine out of the car it should help finance the swap (maybe).
Too bad it has a slushbox.
Depends on the color of the smoke. Smoking on start-up with a rotary typically means the engine has been overheated and slightly warped. Once the engine warms up the different expansion rates of the aluminum and iron sections will reseal the coolant passages... until the next time the engine gets cold. Only way to fix that is with a rebuild.Quote:
