EDIT: 1982 - POS was into Culture Club and totally missed Tommy Tutone. He wanted everyone to call him 'Boy Meesh'. :cat:
What is really sad is this reminded me of the days when you didn't have to dial the area code if you were calling within your own area code. I still don't understand why that is needed.

My mom grew up on a farm and her phone was 2 longs and a short.
They did'nt get a rotary dial until the early 60's.
BR6-1050 and you didn't have to dial the exchange (first three numbers) if you were calling in the same exchange.
I was teasing. I'm a fan of Big Band.
Sulphur Springs used to be that way up until about 10 years ago. Even though all the land lines I can think of are still an 885 exchange, you now have to dial TEN EFFING DIGITS to reach the party you wish to speak to. Thank you, cell phones. Thank you, technology. Thank you, PUC. God luv ya. God help ya.
We had a partyline and MUtual 3-5606 ;)
I can do that song :)
Looks like it ended up going for $186,853.09. Must be a hell of a DJ biz.
