I'm in!
I just picked up a 92 blue Miata with a recently rebuilt motor, and it seems to be a solid runner. I'm planning on AutoX at least a couple times a month after getting the bug for it last fall, and the Miata is clearly a great car for this, based on how many of them there are. I don't expect I'll win my class anytime soon (maybe in novice...) but I figure that there is a ton of wisdom about how to get the most out of a Miata, and I'm ready to learn.
I'm a DISD TAG Science teacher at one of the magnet schools, and I love all things automotive. I've also got a 1947 Chevy P/U resto project in the garage, so I'm fairly handy with a wrench, and have a nice garage/driveway space for auto work, with a hoist, engine stands, pneumatics, etc., and I'm happy to help anyone with a project.
I guess that tells you a bit, and I'll look forward to meeting some of y'all at the autocross events.
Mike

Welcome to the forum and I will look for you at the SCCA autocross in March.
By the way, is that Denton ISD, Dumas ISD, Duncanville ISD, Desoto ISD, Dallas ISD, or ........?
I'm a retired science teacher from CISD. ;)
