Nice. I want one for the track. Just the track. I think I will get one when I win the lottery...:(
I'd like it better if it wasn't a Nissan.
Or a GTR.
Love the plate.
I love the GTR. While neither the Z nor the GTR are the prettiest cars on the planet, you just can't argue the price/performance ratio of Nissan's sports cars.
I'm talking about new car value. There is always something cheaper in the used market. But dollar for dollar both the GTR and the Z will run with much more expensive machinery. That's a bargain in my book.
The GTR will outperform a 911 Turbo. The 370Z will outrun a Cayman S around a road course. In both cases, the Porsche product costs 2x+ what the Nissan does.
Come to think of it, the GTR outran the Z06 around the Nurburgring. The only two "production" sports cars that were faster - the Corvette ZR-1 and the Viper ACR - both cost more than a GTR.
The 370Z can only do so for a few laps before going in to limp mode however. Cooling is not setup to run the car for a full track session.
Another car I did not fit in.
Dress? Everybody knows I wear a skirt! http://smiliesftw.com/x/kekefawk.gif
Seriously though, I was coming up to an intersection beside an 18-wheeler, and without warning he flips on his blinker and starts merging into me. I had people behind me, so I couldn't brake hard, so instead I moved as far over as I could and accelerated past him. The light was green at that time, but as soon as I got around him the light turned yellow and the woman in front of me (who was within 20' of the light!!) LOCKED her brakes to stop at the light.
I ended up beside her on the shoulder with my tires smoking
Then I looked in my rearview and saw the 18-wheeler merge THROUGH my lane and make a right turn.
*sigh*
Then to top it off, the light turned green, we started moving away, and a douchecanoe in a Jeep tried to get between me and the car in front, with no blinker, while the space was about 2' too short for him.
I don't think I'm doing any more rush hour driving if I can help it, at least not outside of town :(
Yes, it is interesting how Nissan got them through the press day for introduction.
