The extended product line release of a 12-V, 7-in (178-mm) round LED headlamp from Truck-Lite is suitable for commercial lighting from the front of the truck to the rear of the trailer. Featuring extended life and efficient LED technology, the headlamp offers a bright white light output compared to incandescent alternatives, according to the company. Solid-state circuit board assemblies provide shock and vibration resistance, and hard-coated, polycarbonate lenses feature 30 times more impact strength than glass. Various military vehicles currently use the company’s 24-V round headlamps, and after extreme weather testing, the 12-V version is being offered to the commercial market. Blended thermal management and light output produces an aesthetically appealing beam pattern. Lamps are designed to replace standard 7-in round headlights in 12-V applications.
