I need a new line of work..

..I still support the last company I work for. (hey its free money as far as I am concerned). I got a call this afternoon that their VPN was not working. Okay I go in and look at it. The server is running and there are people connected to it. I call back the guy who called me. I am watching as the people, who were having a problem, connect. I tell him it looks like everything is working fine...

He then says, "We had lost access to the internet. Would that have effected this?"

I almost fell out of my chair. I then explained that yes it would have caused connectivity problems. Sometimes I seriously think about becoming a truck driver.

When truck drivers have to deal with idiots, their life can be on the line. I'll take phone idiots anyday ;)

My nephew had a trouble call the other day, a lady said her mouse was on the left side of her keyboard and she wanted him to come put it on the right side.
