For Sale '99 Sport Miata prepared by Track Dog Racing. Engine replace under '99 thrust bearing issue at around 42,000 miles by Mazda, the car currently has 89,xxx miles. The car currently has 215 HP and 187 ft. lbs of torque running 11 PSI. This is a great reliable power level that is not hard on the drive train. Club Sport Miata has the Torsen Limited Slip rear end, roll up windows and manual door locks, front and rear spoilers. Car now has Bilstein PSS9 adjustable coil over with 400 lb front springs and 343 lb rear springs. This is a great street and occasional track setup. PERFORMANCE
Track tested, the car is dialed in ready to go play. On the street the suspension dampening is compliant meaning it rebounds quickly. Everyone who has ridden in this car loves the handling and performance. With DOT race tires this car is hard to beat.

PRICING
The Sport without any of these upgrades is valued at $7500. When added up, there is right at $12,000 in performance upgrades, not including any labor. Here is a car that is complete and tested by TDR to meet and exceed anyone’s Need-for-Speed. Car is for sale for $14,400.

Isn't the "club sport" the super rare special-order car that came from the factory with No A/C, No power steering, no radio, no soft top, etc?

Anyway - enough nitpicking. Bump for a great car. I've driven it a lot and it rawks.

I think it was for the 03 model year only too.

Yeah, the Club Sport was only available in '03, and Mazda only made 100 of them - 50 with a soft top and 50 with a hard top (and no soft top).

This car started as a '99 Sport, which is itself a pretty rare option package, but not quite the same thing as a Club Sport.

BTW, not only is this a great car, it is a former keno car! :wink:

Sorry I used the wrong term. It is a Sport. The Sport came without power windows, Cruise, etc.

Yeah I paid for shipping from the Left Coast. And for some other Gary Tidbits.:burnrubr: It is one of the best miatas I have ever driven......scratch that best cars! Total blast to drive.

This is all made up and i deny everything, but it could have happened ....and maybe it did.

One day after i had bought the car from Brian and had TDR tune and add some stuff (I just can't leave stuff alone!) I pulled into MSR at the end of a member day just to see who was out there. Ara had a group testing SMs or MX5s (I can't remember which) and some of the Porsche guys had been out on track. anyway at the end of the day folks were heading back to town and I pulled out right behind the Orange RUF Porsche. Ara and a friend were behind me in a Mazdaspeed Miata. Of course with Valentine Ones at max strength we made a fast dash to the stop light at Whiskey Flats. I was hanging with the RUF car and Ara was working the MS Miata hard to stay close. We were.....lets say hauling butt. Well as we all stopped at the light the RUF guy gave me a thumbs up and I waved at ara behind me kinda afollow me wave, and we took off for Benbrook. The RUF let me and Ara draft for a mile (and we were hauling double butt) he picked it up a little and I pulled away from Ara and then the RUF guy planted his right foot and DAYUM!:burnrubr::burnrubr::burnrubr: ....I was doing lets say hauling butt duble plus plus, and the Mazdaspeed was way back, but the RUF looked like a orange dot in about three seconds. It was amazing! But the silver Goodwin SC was dang swift and plenty exciting.
Now this could have happened, but maybe not.
