Has anyone seen this before? After only 4 runs last Sunday, three of my new tires have separations like this. The fourth has what appears to be developing separations.

Dunno if it's related, but my 615's have developed some "lines" on them after the bus lot event.
Huh... haven't seen that on a set of V710s since they first came out.
It is tread ply separation. The first thing I would do is contact whoever you bought them from and see if you can get replacements (never hurts to ask, right?). If not, you can continue to run them, but flip them over and run them on the opposite side of the car from this past weekend. Should help keep them from separating further.
BTW, what is the date code on that set of tires?

Contact Kuhmo if the tires were recently purchased. The date code has them being produced at the end of 08 (but you knew that).

I think I figured out that at $700 for 4 runs, I should have had a co-driver to pay for the tires.::Clown::
Tire Rack says toughski shitski, there is no warranty of any kind on competitions tires. I am planning on calling Kumho, but don't expect anything different.
altiain says he thinks it's OK to run them, goofygrin says do not run them. I am planning to take the tires to a few more people to have more opinions about running them.
But, it looks like I'm going to be running ES on Falkens. At least, I won't have to change tires at the event. But, I do want to stay in ES.
hey I'm an f'in newbie who runs on sloppy seconds tires, so I'm not choosy :) Run on them if you want... but you never know when one might delaminate itself.

I've corded many a 710 without catostophic results. (YMMV)

I say run 'em until they die. Besides, the Bus Lot will just clean the cuts right off the tire. ;)
I say make them tell you the tire is safe and are willing to take responsibility for any damage or injuries. If not tell them to replace the tires.

They should also cover your mileage driving to and from the tire store to have them mount and your time waiting.
