*SOLD* FS: 1 Project Miata
OK,
Time to be realistic: I have no time to finish this SCCA Spec Miata project car. I have a full time job and a web based business on the side. I'm looking to expand my business and I need the room. I can also use the cash for inventory.
Up for sale: 1 early model 1990 Miata - Spec project car
The good:
- Engine & transmission replaced.
- Aluminum radiator installed (bought from Track Dog)
- Comes with hard top
- Custom cage has already been welded in (Black Racing in Garland)
- Seat belt tower blanking plates
- Plexi drop in driver's side window
- Power window on passenger side (switch on plate where radio was)
- Momo suede wheel with quick disconnect (NOT a cheap disconnect either)
- Speed Bleeders (fluid has been flushed and calipers serviced)
- New clutch slave (fluid has been flushed)
- Steering wheel lock disabled
- Replaced the beauty panel on the back of the car
- Exinguisher, fuel test port, window netting, kill switch, spinduction intake, a Kirkey racing seat with an OK Miata mount installed.
- Spec Miata cat-back exhaust and Kazera KZ-M rims are there but need installing.
- Has Millen Panasport rims on it right now with some all season radials. Good for moving the car around the garage.
- Replacement clutch and new lifters in boxes as spare parts
- 3" cam lock harness in box waiting to be installed
- Comes with an extra racing seat
The bad:
- Needs paint and reassembly of the interior
- Has hail damage and needs paint on the outside
Needs to be done:
- Spec Miata cat-back installed
- Cage needs to have the painting finished
- Rear deck needs to be fit around the cage and reinstalled.
- Seat belt tower blanking plates need installing
- Seat needs to be reinstalled
- Harness needs installation
- Hail damage needs body filler
- Exterior needs paint
- Needs the Spec Miata suspension kit (not supplied - I haven't bought it yet)
If you followed the build on the cardomain page I had set up you'll know I sank a lot of money in little parts. There are extra little parts that go with the car too such as seals, nuts, bolts, studs, and more.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2115071 to see much of what has been done.
The cage was $2500, the car was about $950, the hard top was $750, and the rest was even more. Somewhere I have a pile of receipts for things I've purchased.
As you can see, it's really not that far from being finished. Technically you can get it on the track after paint & reassembly of the interior. You'll need to get and install the suspension kit, finish the build, then have it inspected to get the log book for it.
$4,000 and I have the clear title.
Car can be seen in my garage. PM me to schedule a time.
Thanks,
Raymond
