So, when does the rest of the truck get to look like the motor?
If it was mine I would definately be looking at replacing that rubber fuel line with something that can take the heat and vibration of a 454 . Edlebrock makes a few nice steel line kit for that carb or ignore it if you like engine fires. :MonkBurn:

Yep I plan on doing the metal fuel lines and in fact all the lines will be steel braided or metal but this is just for getting the truck home and driving down to the store a couple miles etc.
right now I am chasing down a vacuum leak
