Awsome I am now high bidder my kids is going to love that car!
I think I'd take that '68 MGB before I took a Chevette. ;) It is a fine specimen though, I'll say that.
They made those at the GM plant near where I grew up (NE Ohio). Every GM worker and their dog drove one. (~$3K brand new) A few winters with salted roads and those cars were toast. They were turds then and even a bigger turd now.
I actually think that's pretty neat.
Crate motor, fat rear tires and wheelie bars?
Ben was looking for a track car and this one has an auto, so...
If it were the model with the 454cid V8, I would be all over this like a duck on a June bug.
He wants over 2 1/2 times the original sticker price for that turd?
Where else are you going to get a 76 Vette with 15K mi. for 9K?;)
I would like to know the story behind it. Did somebody park it thinking it was going to be worth a lot in 30 years? Or did it belong an old lady that never drove it because she could not see but would not sell it because she needed a car?
I had some girlfriends who had one in college. It burned.
