brake lights problem

please help my mazda miata have no brake lights when the headlights are on. what would be the possible reasons? thanks in advance.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, check the fuses, bulbs, and connctors.

If the brake lights work when the headlights are not on, but they won't work when the headlights are on, my first inclination would be to check the ground-side of the brake light circuit.

Did you check the blinker fluid. I bet it's low.
