Dave has a welder... I'm sure you could get him to handle your nuts for a small fee...

Anyway... Sammm.... here's a link (top of the page), it's a "kit" so it may have more than you really want, but it does appear to have two of the handle nuts... http://www.hitchesforless.com/tools.htm
But yeah, if you have the right sized nuts (left this one open for jokes), I can weld a tab on to them for ya...
I used a coat hanger and self locking nuts since I didn't have the correct hardware.

I am still using the same mounting locations, but instead of stopping after the first hole, I just made a second through the opposite side so I can fit a bolt all of the way through. From what I can tell, the only reason for the handled nuts is so they can say that no drilling is required, which is true.
So, using Mick's pic, the put a pink square around the two bolt holes that you use with the handled nuts. I just drilled a hole for each bolt on the opposite side on that piece, too.

On my car, the inboard holes on that rail are where the rear tow-hooks are mounted. May be different on the 1.6 NA's?

Buy the right nuts, get extras, go to an indy muffler shop and have them tack weld a rod on each one. Should be cheap. Don't use old nuts they get brittle.
I can weld a handle onto a nut for you for free. I'll be at my shop tonight, give me a call if you want to head over.
