Anyone got any light weight 15's for sale that they arent using? prefferably brushed gold or bronze but would consider anything else that looks decent.
Also a used matched pair of tires, that are sticky and still have some decent tread on them?

You're looking for quite a few parts this morning, Billy.
I think your best bet is going to be ebay or one of the many Rota vendors on the web. You should be able to pick up a new set of 15" Rotas in whatever design you want, in gold or bronze, for about $450 shipped.
i might be persuaded to let a pair of hoosier race slicks go for the right price, 205/50/15 iirc, ill have to check.
No no no... He said "sticky and have some decent tread on them". :-) Let's not go trying to kill off our forum members when it rains...Quote:

LOL, no I dont need slicks yet!, but thanks
I am looking for a lot of information, as I mentioned I am one of those people who plan out what I am going to do then put them in order of what needs to be done first.
I was looking at some Konig Hellium rims (11.4 lbs) for 89. ea.
I wanna get the tires and wheels at the same time.
I also found some Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 V rated tires for 257.90a set of 4, does anyone know anything about these tires?
Heres my order so far....
Kill switch....still have no info on this and no idea of how to istall one
Tires wheels and shocks
roll bar
springs, sway bars over the engine shock mount bar
better clutch system
exhaust system with header
then start looking at FM1
does this look like a reasonable plan of actiion?
I had a starter 'interrupt' switch on my '92. Basically, you had to push the hidden button in while cranking it over. Worked great and very easy to install! There's another forum member who has the same thing is his car. I haven't put one in my '99 (yet).Quote:

It's pretty easy, but we'd have to kill you if we told you...
I can also show you how to disable a Miata without any added components... Not convenient, but effective. Just ask kestrel.
Go to Radio Shack and get a 'momentary' switch. You want one that is normally open. Should cost around $3-$4.Quote:

Just an FYI, but you might want to skip the header if you are going to turbo the car soon after that. You need a turbo manifold to hang the turbo off of, and that replaces the header.Quote:

so is there any horsepower gain from a header? or just a better exhaust note.
Yeah, on a 99, or any miata IIRC, the header makes the most power out of the I/H/E combo. Around 6-8 or so. I have the old racing beat 4-2-1 on my car. It doesnt make a huge difference, but I like it. Most stock 99s have are 110hp and mine is around 123, but for example altain's stock 99 has something like 123, he has a freak motor though...
