FWIW - Wife's 2002 Miata is still on its original battery.
My original 1990 battery lasted until 2007 (50k miles). I was nervous to replace it, since I have never heard of a battery lasting nearly that long.
My original lasted about 11 years. Second one lasted around 6.
I say 4:30 this afternoon.
man, I must be doing something wrong. Mine are only lasting like 1-2 years (usually just 1)
I fail at battery maintenance :(
I believe my 99 had the original in it when I bought it and I just replaced it last year.
Depends are you buying the non-sealed batteries?? I don't even waste my time with those anymore it's sealed and nothing else. Usually Optima is my go to battery but I don't think they make one for this car.Quote:
