My car is squeaking in the back. What is it?
The LE is doing it in the front. BR and I traced it to control arm bushings.
I didn't think about those. I greased up the rear sway bar bushings, but it's still there. It doesn't do it on smooth roads, only when the suspension is working.
It is all the Cheater parts! ;-)
Not yet, but there's fixin' to be some! ::Banana::

Looks like I need to reflash my ECU, and maybe a light weight clutch and flywheel. I would lower it but that's too easy to see.
Port your heads, too.
Both are legal bits! ::Rasp::

SCCA Solo2 rules section 13.5.D.
D. A suspension bump stop is considered to be performing the
function of a spring. Therefore, the compressed length of the
shock at the initial point of contact with the bump stop may not
be increased from the standard part, although the bump stop
may be shortened for the purpose of installing non-standard
shocks. Bump stops installed externally and concentric with the
shaft of a shock may be drilled out to fit a larger diameter shock
shaft. Bump stops may be substituted for the purposes of installing
non-standard shocks..
Maybe you should finally take this off your car...

I bet it wouldn't squeak if I drove it. Probably worn out bump stops.
blown shocks/suspension not designed to be rebuilt? i have the exact same noise on my 02 NB so i ordered H&R coilovers to see if that takes care of it.
Could it be your wallet? Still say the car won't squeak if you get out and let me drive it.
"Dealer installed... Does that count it is a Mazda part...... "
By the book, NO, off to STS or Super Street Mod when they change the wing rule in ST, for you.
