If you haven't seen this car in person, pictures don't do it justice. Almost too nice to take to the track; almost.
Sweet car with alotta kick.
Good luck with the sale mk2tmr2!

Good looking car, and nice photography too!
looks awesome!!!
Dang. I love those wheels. Sick car, I'm sure it won't take long to sell.
Hah. You called me out! I knew it wouldn't take long.
The car is up for sale. I'm not really 100% excited to sell it nor do I really *need* to. But I'm at a point where I feel like someone else could make better use of it and selling it would also make sense from some other angles. It would also allow me to move on to another project - since there isn't a whole lot more I can do with this one besides an LSx swap. ;)
this is the car with the painted black interior right?
Yes. Link to the write up from when I did it: http://www.steveandlee.com/wordpress/?page_id=68
Very sharp, well sorted car. Needs nothing but a devoted new owner to enjoy it. GLWS Steve. Looking fwd to the next project.
This is still one of my fav Miatas. Sorry to see you selling it, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
This is a truly "show ready" miata, and is one of the few I've ever seen that goes as good as it looks. Proportions are soooo nice on this car.
Did you dyno it?
Yup. Dyno'ed at ATS Racing on Flyin' Miata's old Dynojet that they have now. It made ~208 at the wheels @ 10psi. Pretty conservative tune. WB02 shows around 11.5 AFR.
Here's the chart. Technically it did 205 but I let off early so I extrapolated to 208 :) First time actually driving the car on the dyno. With the fuel cut raised to 7,500RPM it was scary to keep my foot in it once the needle went into the red and I wussed out a couple times.

Wow. Awesome car.
Just got featured on Roadster Garage. http://roadstergarage.wordpress.com/...vens-nb-miata/
It is too nice even to drive it! Hope this super nice Miata goes to good home! So, it does not have a CAT? ... not really street legal???
I have both Racing Beat midpipes. One with a Cat and one without. The one with the cat is currently on the car, but it started making noise like the cat is breaking up so I picked up the catless one that I'm about to put on. Both will be with the car if the new owner is really that interested in keeping it legal.
No longer for sale. Lock 'er up!
Hope that means you're keeping it?
