Here's mine... easy to make.

Meh I let my front plate ride with me under the passenger seat.
I don't run a front plate on any of my miatas. I'm a bad man.;)
I've never run a front plate. Throw the plate in the trunk. If you're stopped (I never have been) tell the officer your mount is on order.
I used to get stopped all the time between here and Lubbock. I run a front plate now.
The cheap way to run a front plate:
I bought a couple of angle brackets, drilled holes in the right places in the brackets, and bolted it up.

Hope this is useful.
I don't run one the plate is in the car under the seat. Just never bothered to run on. I lost the one off the front of my Saturn which had a bracket from the factory and still can't figure out how to get a replacement plate.
My front plate is sitting in my room. I have been pulled over a few times for other reasons, no officer has ever mentioned anything about the license plate. And I haven't received any tickets for anything thus far..
Mine's in the garage. Been pulled over twice, specifically for not having a plate, by DPS lurking north of Lake Lavon on 380. No other cops have said anything, including a Richardson cop who pointed out my expired inspection sticker to me as he walked by the front of my car on the way to his.
I bought one from GarageStar on Clubroadster it ran around $50 1/8" steel plate it's crooked in the pic cause I had it attached to the baby tooth, But after I took off the baby tooth and used the bracket it came with it sits level now

If you feel you MUST have a front plate on the car, you can always get a couple of tabs of Velcro and stick that sucker in some corner of the windshield.
The plate for my '94 uses a variation on this. The '90 has a bracket similar to the one Tom posted but made by a local guy several years ago.
I always have a front plate displayed just to avoid the potential hassle. However, I will note that I've only ever seen four modern Corvettes with a front plate, and one of those was just a sticker of some sort that looked like a plate.
I modified the stock bracket and mounted it on a baby tooth. Hasn't moved at all in over 2 years.
