need how to R&R axle-hub...

i am replacing my rear left spindle, upper and lower arms. i know how to R&R everything BUT the drive axle from the spindle and diff(if theres anything that retains the axle or if it just pops back in). how??? what type of special tools will i need?

from what i understand, you pry/pop off the axle from the diff using a pry bar and a hammer, bend the metal away from the bolt on the end of the hub, a 29mm socket unscrews it, but i still dont know how it goes in both sides nor how to remove or install the axle.

99% of the time axles are a raging bitch to get out of the hub. You can try a dead blow, but it won't work...get MC Hammer out. When you install them coat everything in anti-seize, it makes life worth living.

thanks trickyrix and mr brg for actualy giving useful answers, i was on another forum and the guy said i was in too deep and to buy a shop manual.... how friendly(not). so i used a 1 1/4 impact gun and yes, a hammer. worked just fine after 5 minutes of banging and degreaser.
