As the title says, I broke that little rod that sticks out and holds the fuel door closed. Broke it when I couldn't get the release lever to pull back the rod and I tried to pull the door open ::Rant::. So... any chances that this will be a cheap fix? What part/part number is it to replace this? :(
What year car do you have? Mazda Nissan Heaven might have the part.
1999. If I knew what part I'm supposed to get, I could ask them or one of the other parts companies. Thanks for the reply.

Not a lot of 2nd gens at MNH, but its worth a shot. Give them a call and explain what you're looking for.
There were several at All imports off Elliot reeder rd. Could give them a try.
You might also call over to Track Dog to see if they have one laying around.
If you go to Mazda nissan heaven make sure you call ahead for them to pull the part for you. I was there last month and they informed me that they no longer allowed customers in the yard to pull their own parts. We had to beg the guy to let us out there, he followed us around like little kids and we had to stand there like idiots watching him pull the part for us.
Not sure if this is the new trend with salvadge yards or not, but just a heads up. No scrounging around the yard any more.
Edit: on the other hand I was surprized they did have a few NBs, and even an NC.
