Well I'm checking my car over tryin to get the car ready to run this Sunday and i think my biscuit inside my cat converter is toast at 178k and it has a annoying rattling inside it..so my ? Is if I just delete my cat and put a pipe in it's place and that's all that the car has done will that take me out of ES? And will I have a cel? I did not see a downstream o2 after the car so I would not think so about the cel
The car will never pass an state inspection in Tarrant or Denton County without the catalytic converter so ya might as well fix it.
You can only change the exhaust behind the catalytic converter to remain in stock class.

Ok so I can put a exhaust from the cat back...and a intake and stay in es?

K no I was reading!!! Crap that slot of stuff to take in....k so no intake only a k and n stock filter....and I can do exhaust from the cat back and I have to use original hangers ....that sound right cuz I'll go tomorrow and do my exhaust
From the sound of the changes you want to make, STS would be a good class for you.
I guess I'll just do what I want to the car and whatever class I end up in I'll just be dead last everytime lol
