Looking to buy a Miata this weekend. $3000 +/-

I eventually want to do an LS1 swap, but for now, just looking for a solid daily driver for the wife. She got a little aggressive in her WRX and trany went boom!

A/C and heat must work. If A/C needs some R34, no big.
Also needs to be mechanically sound with the normal stuff in spec and kept up with.
Body at least a 7/10 with no leaks from the top.
Don't care if it's an Auto or a manual.
Would like the interior to be decent with livable seats. I don't mind putting money in it in a few months once I've swapped out the trany in the wife's car, but for now, no milk crate seats. ;)

I've looked at one car from Craigslist so far. Any advice for what to look out for in one of these would be great!

I'm new to this site, but I'm sure once I start playing with the Miata I pick up, I'll be on here lookin for tech and parts all the time!

Lol I too bought my miata with the intent to swap my 430rwhp ls1 that I pulled out of my 2000 camaro..but I've had so much fun autoxing it that I'm going to put it off and let the Ls sit in the shop for a bit till I'm ready to swap it.... But good luck it really is a great car even with the stock eng...
