Drive better! ;)
I like tail that swings.
Come out to an autocross and other organized event to learn the limits of your car. Don't practice on the street.
Brian, is that you? You still have the MSP? Post pix when you get a chance, and sign up for Hallett to start your Track Whore experience... :D
Alignment and better tires will keep things in check. Bigger front sway bar if you want more understeer. More seat time is always a plus. Enjoy your new car!
yessir, it's me. i still have it, but trying to sell it.
yea i need more time in the saddle. i miss the turbo soooooo bad, this thing is soooo slow, lol. but it handles like a dream. that and the top down feature is always badass.
guys what tires should i get? i want at least a 205 or 215. i have 14 in 7.5 in wide bbs's help please!
so, how long until the miata needs a new tranny?
How's it going brian. I had the same FWD to RWD transition issues when I got the Miata.... it gets more natural feeling with time.
I'd suggest an autocross or two to help you sort out the differences. Learn to drive correct wheel drive at 30 - 50 mph so when you're doing 75 and the rear end steps out you'll know before it happens and be skilled at catching it.
Spin at 30 or 80 - hit a cone or go agri it is your choice...
a buddy of mine took me to a huge parking lot in NRH this morning and i learned alot in that short amount of time.
also looking to get an intake and an exhaust for the NA. thoughts on that?
Autocross is WAY better than just going To a Parking lot that's empty...in autocross u have to be able to look 2 gates ahead of the one Ur fixin to go into so there is alot more skill involved than a empty parking lot....intake and exhaust will do alittle...but I think bumping timming up to 16 and running 93 oct did more than intake and exhaust...jmho
timing is already at 14 i believe. running 93 already.
pics are in the bull section, Rick
Of ur running 93 u can go up to 16
i would like to, but don't know the procedure nor do i have a timing light :(.
Here is the procedure...
