Is that a covering on the center console of some sort or a textured paint?
Carpet.
They were supposed to send me a black plastic-finished version, but they sent me unfinished fiberglass gellcoat instead. Rather than try in vain to paint it to match the OEM radio/AC surround, we put some flexible black carpeting on both.
