Is there a flat on the top of the shock that you could put a wrench on?

Doh! Thank you!!!
I hope I didn't hurt anything by turning the shaft...
I got them all in eventually. The car is a little lower than I'd like for now, but I'll raise it back up. Ignorning the low-low status of my car, I drove to work today and I'm very happy with how it feels. I'm surprised that I have noticeably more grip on the same tires. And what's that? Where did that previously easily attainable understeer go? It's gone. The shocks are currently at the middle of their adjustment range (6 of 12 front and rear). I think I'm going to back the fronts down to one softer and maybe the rears down 2 softer. The ride is fine at 6's, but I'm going to experiment with it.
Are you sure you have the correct spring/shock combination all four corners?
I suspect there could be some user error. I will investigate more this week. I can say that the ride to work was worth the wait for these suckers!
However, I'm sure the springs and shocks are all in the proper places. There could be some bushing, washer, etc. mixup.
That's the other possible problem, assembly of the shock and spring.
Ask me how I know these things!
I'll have to review my work.
I think you really need to check which spring gone where. The front springs should be longer than the rear ones IRC. Also, make sure you the nuts and bolts put back in the correct positions in relation to the hats. If not the shaft of the shock will pock all the way out.
I know the springs are not mixed up. The front coils are labeled and noticeably thicker. Can't promise the rest is correct though I think it is.
They're ok to spin like that a little. I use a fat, industrial rubber band to grip the piston, then wrench the nut on as tight as I can get it.
