Hello all!
Hello all! My name is Brad and I will be moving to Rockwall in a week. I have been autocrossing for two years now in the Arizona region and I hope to find more events out here for my addiction!
I started autocrossing in a BSP Saturn Sky Redline, mildly prepped, on star specs and moved on to V710s and A6s last year. I have been pretty succesful thus far, winning the novice class in my first series and placing 2nd and 3rd in the local indexed street tire class. I have been out to El Toro for the SOPAC divisional twice and placed 3rd both times, finishing behind fully-prepared cars and national champions. Due to student loans, I had to sell the Sky but have co-driving ever since. Some cars I've codriven include an ST Civic, an SS Elise (owned by 3-time XP champ Fred Zust), a DS Audi TT quattro, Doug Rowse's championship DSP BMW 330, a moderately-prepped CSP Miata, Elliot Speidell's STX BMW (that should win STX if it wasn't for the ST civics that jump classes), and most recently a 2011 FS 5.0 Mustang GT (beating the car owner by a second or two in my first time in the car on A6s). I was also planning on joining the newly created "instructor" class created by the AZ region to help novices with ridealongs before my move to Texas.
So that's my autocross resume. Since I don't have a car, I am looking for a co-drive spot. I am more than willing to be the tire-monkey at events and help with general car setup. I've learned from some national champs and would love to share my knowledge and continue to expand it as well.
Thanks a bunch and I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome, Brad. There are five clubs in DFW that host autocrosses, so you will get your fill!

Are you looking to go to the Div in College Station or just local events for now?

I'd love to go to college station, but funds might be a bit tight. If not, i definitely want to do the local events. A lot of my AZ friends who came from TX said that TX has some pretty awesome sites...
