Could they not design a better boot???
This is a picture of my shifter boot after about a year and a half of use. The lower boot on top of the shifter turret is also showing signs of dry rot :punchout: Both were replaced at the same time. I figure the lower boot will probably last the rest of the year but the upper boot has got to be replaced now ::Censor:: Guess I should just add those parts to my yearly transmission/diff oil change schedule.
