Anyone got a sandblaster/beadblaster or know of a place where I could get a set of rims blasted.
Got a couple of rattle can paint jobs on the rims and I'd like to get all that off before the next coat of spray paint. ;-)

I have a blasting cabinet but I think it is too small for car wheels. It might fit a bike wheel though. ;)
I used the aircraft stripper when I did some wheels. Its extremely effective, but nasty stuff. Best used on bare wheels without tires. Fast and easy.
Use the aerosal paint stripper they sell at Lowes or HD. It eats any plastic or rubber parts though.
Maybe...
I used a can of aircraft paint stripper after using the aerosol stuff. The stuff in a can seems to be much more effective than the aerosol stuff. Defiantly wear gloves and wash up afterwards.
I have a wet sand blaster and of course, plenty of sand
Listen to Lorin on this one! The gel and liquid paint strippers are so vile (carcinogenic) the professional paint shops quit using them years ago. All of the mess you remove from the wheel will be toxic. You really shouldn't just throw it in the trash and you can't get rid of it safely without permits. Find a way to blast the paint off.
