Has anyone ever offset ground the rod journals on a 1.8 crank to increase the stroke?
Yes. And by "yes", I mean "no".
I didn't spend much time on it but I couldn't find a rod with a smaller BE bore than OE and still had a good length and rod width, guess you'd have to call up Carrillo and get some custom rods made to work with the crank.
