Cooling fan replacement questions

It's been awhile but I just wanted to see if I could get some quick answers on questions regarding cooling fans as I am unsure if I had a dead fan or something else may be the culprit.

Is the process for the radiator fan test on an NB the same as it is for a NA? The Miata.net garage section just says "jumper the TFA terminal with the GND terminal" but in the black fuse box in the engine bay, I don't see any of those indications. There is a gray diagnostics port, but under the cap there are no labels at all. Anyone able to give me some tips on that?

Second, which fan is the radiator fan? I have seen some posts saying that the fan on the passenger side is the radiator fan and some posts saying the driver's side fan is the radiator fan... Anyone able to clear this up?

No idea how to test on an NB but you can always just unplug it and run 12volts to it. Drivers side is the main cooling fan and the passenger side is for AC.

What Flyin96M said. I just replaced both fans on my NA, but I have on experience with the NB's.
