I think they were especially made for Tire Rack.
I know the guy that runs the Goodyear Distribution Center near downtown Dallas. I need to ask him if he keeps Star Specs in stock (Goodyear owns Dunlop). In the past, I would just call him when I wanted Goodyear tires and he would drop them off at my house.
Looks like we are going discount. they can get them and are close enough to tire rack's pricing. thanks all
The star Specs are a tirerack exclusive tire, even discount tire will order them from those monopoly bastards they call tirerack.
For reference, a set of 205/50/15 Star Specs is $526.28 shipped on Tirerack.com. We sell them for $479.00 per set.
