I love me some football, but I'm out on this one. As far as I'm concerned, Okie State won the Big One when they beat Stanford last week. Anyone else care to discuss?

What with Tebow having used-up all the Jesus-Juice this week, I can't imagine there is anything left to let anyone else make a 4th qarter comeback. Guess it will be won in the 3rd.
^ Tebow didn't have a 4th Quarter revival! It was an OT Revival!

not much meat in the Okie State plea for a title. Not when you drop a game to a team like Iowa State. That was one tough defensive game last night & the winner sits atop the standings in all polls. About as close to consensus as you can get.
I still say OSU would've whipped LSU.
I'm glad I didn't watch that back alley hack job. Sounds like LSU had nothing offensively. The whole thing stinks when Saban can basically vote his team into the national championship game, and Gundy didn't have a vote at all. Although, I don't know why they still have a coaches' poll anyway - seems very sketchy to me.
Anyhow, I enjoyed catching up on 3 hours of "It's Always Sunny" while the SEC held its big circle jerk. ::Banana::
The game was even sorry on FF. The announcers acted like the game was vindicated when a TD was finally scored. They definitely had some terrific defenses, but neither team really had much of an offense. I don't think OSU has any real claim, but there is no doubt that it was embarassing to have a National Championship game showcasing a QB as pathetic as Jefferson.
One thing I do agree on: Alabama should be undisputed #1 after the complete ass-whipping they put on LSU, and I truly hate Saban.
