*SOLD* '99 Miata for sale.
I need to say goodbye to her. We've been together for twelve years, one divorce, three jobs, two grandkids, and a remarriage. I won her in a sales contest in 1/2000. It was a big deal. I've never enjoyed a vehicle as much as my Miata. But...
She's too small for two granddaughters (5 & 3), customers, or our stuff when The Little Red-Headed Woman and I head out for the weekend. It's barely big enough for us to go ballroom dancing on Friday nights.
So here are her vital statistics: (I'm going to be quite candid about this.)
White with a black interior.
Vinyl top and fabric interior.
In the past year she has gotten new tires, new alternator, new fuel pump, new gas struts, and new brake pads.
She runs like a champ with great acceleration and handling. I'll never own anything again that has been this fun.
The a/c works just fine.
In '06 she received minor damage right rear from a teenaged boy in a Mustang. Repaired.
In '07 I lost a headlight (replaced) in a brush with a guard rail on an icy bridge.
She has 218,000 on her. I'm the only one who has ever driven her. I have always changed the oil every 3-5K miles. She uses very little oil.
