FS: 2001 Mazda Miata

Hello all!

I have a Mazda Miata in search of a good home. It has about 135,000 miles. We will start off with the bad:

Most of the problems with this car are cosmetic. The rear spoiler has clear coat peeling off. The interior is clean, however, the seats are visibly worn and have begun to lose their shape slightly. The top has been replaced, but some of the hardware to put in the carpet on the rear deck has gone missing (those annoying little plastic fasteners). The top has one latch that doesnt toggle so i usually keep the sun visor over it. The seatbelts have faded. There are probably some other things I missed, but you get the gist of it. Head lights are a little hazy. Brakes will probably need to be replaced soon as they are squeaking. Second gear syncro may be a little tired?


Now for the good:

The car is in excellent mechanical shape. Timing belt and all corresponding maintenance in that area not even 5000 miles ago. All cam cover seals have been replaced. The car is absolutely dead-reliable. The car also drives great. Engine is willing and the chassis is responsive. The car is an absolute joy to drive. It is an LS model so it does have the bose system, however, the stock headunit has been replaced in favor of a pioneer headunit with AUX input and it sounds absolutely fantastic, even with the top down! Title is clean.

-new top and rain rail
-timing belt change (less than 5000 miles ago)
-new timing belt idler and tensioner pulley
-new water pump
-new radiator
-new clutch slave cylinder
-new crank seals
-new cam seals
-new drive belts
-newvalve cover gasket
-Pioneer Head unit with Aux in (sounds great paired with the bose speakers!)

Priced higher here than Craigslist?
