Fronts
camber -2.5
caster maxed
zero toe
rear
same as fronts for camber and toe
Can probally run even 1/16 or 1/32 toe in on the rear.
I use specs close to this. On paper they sound pretty agressive on tire wear but has worked out pretty well on my car and has not chewed up the tires too bad for the street.
Keep in mind camber is not the main killer on tires it is the combo of both excessive camber and toe. Also factor in the changes from dynamic and static characteristics.
If you are stock talk to slates, he has done a lot of development getting the perfect settings.
Front camber max out the positive camber and toe in.
Rear camber max plus and max toe out.
This should be great.
Thanks all (except ken o).
If I AX on 17" wheels and DD on 16" wheels, that really doesn't affect alignment settings does it? I had planned to put my AX wheels/tires on before I go, but now I'm wondering if that is necessary.
It should only affect alignment settings if the tire diameter, offset and/or tire width are different.
No, the alignment is set to the hub/wheel.
I like as much negative camber up front as you can get, especially at your ride height. Toe is so user-specific. If you can handle a little tramlining in DD, zero up front is very balanced on the autox course. I actually like about 1 degree less camber in the rear than the front in the NC.
I was only able to get -1.3 camber on the front and 0 toe. I have -1.5 camber on the rear, and 1/16" toe in. I got the 1-year deal from Texas Track Works, so we'll see how it feels at the next AX. I told him it's a daily driver, so it's not a super aggressive alignment.
I was running around -2.5 all around with zero toe front and rear. The zero toe really cuts down on tire wear. I was driving almost 50 miles a day.
I can't get close to -2.5 with the ride height I'm at...still stock with MS-R springs and Koni's, not coil-overs.
Me too.
