I jumped right in and bought one, so I'll post a review after a couple of events.

Well for one thing it comes with all the accessories that GoPro should have come with(and charges an arm & a leg for). Looks like a pretty dang good deal.

I actually picked up one of the Swan 1080p kits off Woot a few weeks back after watching some of the online reviews - great bang for buck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg5uPyn_gRM . I haven't had time to mess with it much, but you're right, it comes with a butt-load of std accessories unlike the GoPro. I have a GoPro Hero that I love, but thought it'd be nice to have a pair for simultaneous shots from different angles. The Swan uses a micro SD card unlike the GoPro which uses a standard size SD card.

I'll have to get the pair out for a side-by-side comparison and post the results.
