Windshield wipers won't turn off!

Hi all,

As I was cruising on the highway yesterday, all the sudden the wipers turned on themselves. Changing the interval levels yielded no effort, except HIGH seems to increase the wiper speed a bit.

I disconnected the motor as a temporary fix.

Any idea on how I should start tracing this problem?

That is what I was thinking also.

How should one trace down a short? Sorry I'm an extreme noob when it comes to electric.

Might be easier to just swap out the assembly.

Yes, I don't even know if you can take the switch apart but sounds like you need a new multifunction swith.

Only drive when it rains.
