Hi, I'm John, and I bought a 2000 in Evo Orange a few weeks ago. TDR installed a HDHCHT roll bar, and I'm waiting to have my soft-top replaced (it's sitting in my apartment taunting me as my head freezes on the way to work) as well as RE-11's and HP+ brakes. I'm hoping to meet some (local) Miata owners, run in some HPDE's, and tune my car a little.
A little about me:
I'm a 27-year old web application architect at one of the largest social media agencies in the US. I grew up in the small town of Richmond (Texas), went to UTD, and currently live at The Heights at Park Lane. Hobbies include cooking/eating, traveling (Costa Rica's the latest of about 10 other countries), CrossFit, and robotics.
Potential upgrades (as my abilities improve):
- Seats and harnesses
- Yellow-speed coilovers with FCM bumpstops
- 15x7 wheels w/ 225/50R15's
- Intake and headers – car came with a Borla exhaust
- ECU tune from Dynotronics (5-min from my parents' house)
- Lightweight battery since mine seems to be dying
- Some tasteful refreshing of the interior and maybe a Parrot Asteroid
