First I've heard of this test. But, until I started autocrossing, I had never heard of anyone changing their brake fluid. The test is easy enough to do so I will give it a shot this afternoon.

The other reason besides deteriorating gaskets is the risk of galvanic corrosion. It occurs faster in the presence of highly acidic or basic solutions. What the videos actually show is the current generated by a galvanic battery. A small current is generated between the dissimilar metals when in the presence of an electrolyte, in this case the antifreeze.

I tried it and got nothing, 0 volts...
did anybody notice that both the vids mention the red fluid?
I got 0.14V on the kids 2002 and 0.06V on my 1994
So the kids car needs attention and mine is borderline??
Well, I just flushed out all the fluid and replaced it with piss. Learned that from Red Dawn!
Are you using red fluid? jdcanadian has a point.
Did the vatos at the zone tell you about this? Did you use the HF VOM?
Did you flush and leave the old stuff for your neighbors' cats?
How long did you leave the leads in the red fluid? Did you dry it with a fat quarter.
