Mid-cities Wed GTG locations?

... so... I have taken it upon myself to find a cool location that more of us can agree on for the Wednesday night GTG...

The coolest things about Kellers:
Outdoor drinkin' with our cars.
Really good, cheap burgers.
Cheap domestic beer.
Hangin' with the Rat Pack.

Bad things about Kellers:
Nasty bathrooms(your gf won't like you!)
yeah, the location is on the East side of a big metroplex
it's outdoors (cold, wet, windy, really hot)


.... so, those of you in the mid-cities, post up here if you have a location that is car friendly, somewhere you can be with your car, buds, and suds.

I haven't been in the metroplex long enough to find places...Help revive the mid-cities Wed GTG!!!

2a. Way back in the day, I drove to Fort Woof with impunity just to join some Westies and partake in Angelo's BBQ and their Supernaturally Ice Cold Beer... WTF happened to those cats?

2b. Again, way back in the day, I arranged a Wed Nite GTG at Willhoite's in Grapevine... and it was a smash hit!

So, c'mon, Westies... I think we'd flock to your side of town for a meet. Maybe not on a Wed Nite...

However, I'd gladly join you cats after an auto-x on a weekend when you go to lunch at Luby's...

This discussion again? It seems this comes up every 6 months.

My 2 cents...

Keep Wednesday night at Kellers or Jack Junkies. They both work well as car guy hang outs. If you want to do a West Side thing, pick any other day. I would be in for the drive out on a Friday night but not during the week. (Thus plan it for a week day to keep me away.) ::Rant::

Some suggestions when looking for a place. Keep it a parking lot hang-out. Hanging out with the cars is the reason why the Wednesday night thing is so successful.

When the weather warms up just a bit we need to start doing weekend drives.

what about a drive-in drive to Ennis sometime in a few months. not mid cities, but whatever.

Cadillac has/had(?) them and the 19th hole on 380 across from wallyworld... my still born VW club met there...

I was talking about the Cadillac Pizza Pub in downtown McKinney. Wouldn't be a great venue for cars, but it's a great venue for live blues.
