TX Region SCCA Solo Event #2 - April 28

Not sure if I'm posting this question in the correct place, so please move it if necessary.

I'm a complete newbie to AutoX and would like to check out (ideally participate in) the event on 4/28 at TMS. Should I register or just plan on coming to watch for the first time? Are there any instruction/experience prerequisites?

Just register as a novice. You'll receive plenty of help and a driving instructor if you want one.

Excellent, thanks. Also -- are there usually helmets to rent or borrow?

SCCA has loaner helmets, as does the other autocross hosting clubs. You'll appreciate a painter's head sock to use with the loaner helmet.
